Pay admission at the farm house before touring.
Expect to arrive at a farm site. Park anywhere in the driveway without blocking it for others. Walk to the farm house. Our dog is friendly. Pay your admission, then go through the entrance and follow the trails. Explore by going inside the buildings. Hands-on-experience.
Time Allowance: Allow at least a half hour for touring at your own pace.
Most people spend longer. Spend all the time you can.
Lots of details to see. Put on a bonnet and an apron for your photos. Please hang them again when you are finished wearing them.
Buildings: Prairie soddy, outhouse, small log cabin, dugout, shed with sod cutter. Pathways take you to each spot. A trail takes you through acres of
restored tallgrass prairie. Easy to find everything.
Turn Around: Driveway turn around for motor coaches and RV’s.
